As a member of the Global Health Security Network, you are entitled to attend our Global Health events. 

Given the current situation, now more than ever the Global Health Security Network is committed to ensuring researchers have an outlet to share their experience and research. We will be running a series of webinars throughout the year for you to take part in as part of the membership. They can be streamed live or downloaded post event. 

As a member you will also receive discounted registration to the Biannual Conference on Global Health Security which is to be held in Sydney on 22-25 June 2021. Further details on this will be announced and members will have the first opportunity to register before the general public.

    Seye Abimbola (in conversation with Sridhar Venkatapuram) will discuss emerging lessons based on how the knowledge infrastructure of global health has responded to the Covid-19 pandemic. He will reflect on the role of academic journals, pre-prints, modelling, trials, scores and indexes, and their potential to facilitate or limit learning.

    The Texas Global Health Security Innovation Consortium (TEXGHS) is hosting a virtual launch event which will feature speakers from around the globe to discuss the importance of supporting innovation in the fight against COVID-19. The event will also highlight how TEXGHS has created a unique innovation ecosystem that brings together academic, public, and private sector partners to respond to COVID-19 and help prevent the next pandemic.

    Global Health Security Conference 2021 will promote a dynamic and contemporary program that will include a mixture of keynote panel presentations, dedicated sessions, and lively discussions and debate on the challenges that impact global health security.
