Global Health Security Conference 2022

28 June - 1 July 2022

Following on from the success of GHS 2019, the next Global Health Security Conference will take place at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore on the 28 June - 1 July 2022.

GHS 2022 will promote a dynamic and contemporary program that will include a mixture of keynote panel presentations, dedicated sessions, and lively discussions and debate on the challenges that impact global health security. The 4-day conference will also include a series of workshops, side-events and panels. 

GHS 2022 is fully committed to gender equality and diversity and are working towards becoming a carbon neutral event. To ensure we are fully inclusive, childcare facilities will also be available at the Conference for those travelling with their families. Further information on this will be announced in 2022.

Paid Global Health Security Network Members are entitled to discounted registration rates. In order to be eligible for the discount you must be registered for a 2 year membership. Once registered you will be emailed through a private link for registration.

All Registration fees will be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Current foreign exchange rates can be found using the XE currency converter.

Student Registrations

Only those that hold a valid student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or are a holder of an international student card (submitted in English) qualifies for the student rate. Students must also be studying full time.

A copy of your student id card must be uploaded during the registration process or emailed to the Conference Manager Without this the full registration fee will be charged.

LMIC Registrations

To be entitled to the LMIC Registration rate you must be a resident from a low-income or low-upper middle-income country.

To confirm you qualify please refer to the DAC list.

Please Note:

* Due to Venue capacity restrictions, there will be a limited number of LMIC registration places available. A large proportion of these LMIC registrations have been reserved for travel bursary participants. Once the travel bursaries have been allocated then the LMIC registrations will become available again.

** As a paid Global Health Security Network Member you will be entitled to a substantial discounted registration. Visit for more information about requirements and eligibility for the discount. 

The Program Committee advise that you register early to avoid disappointment.

Registration Entitlements

All registrations are entitled to the following:

  • Attendance at all sessions during the Conference
  • Daily catering including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Ticket to the Welcome Reception
  • Conference satchel including Conference materials
  • Gala Dinner ticket is an additional cost

Social Functions

During the Conference there are selection of Social Functions you can attend. Please make sure you select on the registration form which social functions you would like to attend.

Registration Terms and Conditions


Your registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email confirmation. Please keep a record of this email and bring it with you to the Conference. Your registration will only be finalised if payment and registration form are completed in full.

Payment Options

Please note all registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘GHS2022’.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference manager at

Registration Fees: Registrations can be cancelled before 21 May 2022 23.59 AEST but will incur a cancellation fee of $150 AUD. After this date there will be no refunds.

Social Fees: Social Function tickets can be cancelled before 21 May 2022 23.59 AEST but will incur a cancellation fee of $10 AUD. After this date there will be no refunds.


The Organisers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting at their sole discretion.

The Organisers reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid.

Name badge

Each member of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times in order to obtain entry to Conference sessions, Exhibition and Welcome Reception. The Program Committee reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.
